Education Writers Association

The Education Writers Association is the professional network of reporters covering education, schools and colleges. Its mission is to improve reporting of education to the public. Non-reporters may join the association as associate members, if their work is related to EWA's mission. Founded in 1947, EWA runs national and regional seminars; hosts a national contest; has three active and useful listservs and a website of resources in education; and provides a variety of publications and guides to help reporters and the general public monitor education. EWA currently has 900 members from across North America and welcomes student journalists as well as international journalists interested in education.
