First Amendment Center Online at Vanderbilt University

The First Amendment Center works to preserve and protect First Amendment freedoms through information and education. The center serves as a forum for the study and exploration of free-expression issues, including freedom of speech, of the press and of religion, the right to assemble and petition the government.

Training Mission:
The First Amendment Center provides training in awareness and understanding of First Amendment issues through its sessions in Arlington, Va., in conjunction with American Press Institute seminars for newspaper editors, advertising directors, circulation managers and other newspaper professionals.
