API is the oldest training organization serving the newspaper industry.
We offer cross-department training for leaders throughout the industry.
API offers multi-day seminars in its Reston, Va., headquarters and at selected locations around the country.
Newsroom topics on the 2007 calendar include: Storytelling, Innovations, New Editors Survival Guide, New Products for Targeted Audiences, Leading the 24-7 Newsroom, Visual Storytelling and Managing Newsroom Change from the Middle.
API also can come to your newsroom or organization conference to present tailored programs on-site, customized for your unique needs.

Casey Journalism Center on Children and Families (CJC)
CJC inspires and recognizes exemplary reporting on children and families.
Since 1993, thousands of print, broadcast and online journalists have attended our intensive training programs and relied on us for information and diverse resources.
CJC is a nonprofit program of the Merrill College of Journalism, University of Maryland, College Park.
CJC tailors its training to newsroom needs and resources.
A workshop can help launch a project or deepen daily coverage, connecting reporters to experts on demographics, emerging issues and policies, best practices and ethics.
Workshops also focus on storytelling and other craft.

The Poynter Institute
The Poynter Institute is a non-profit school for journalists, dedicated to the values, craft and leadership of journalism and journalists.

This can be done as Institute projects or through consulting by individual faculty members.

Religion Newswriters Association
RNA is the nation's only trade association for journalists who cover religion in the general circulation news media.
We help journalists cover religion with balance, accuracy and insight.
